I have been dragging all day today. I think this packing is wearing me out. I have so many thoughts running through my mind about what still needs to be done and when I'm going to do it. In actuality, I think I am ahead of the game. These thoughts, however, are intruding. Aaargh! I didn't sleep to well last night due to those thoughts.
So here's what I still have to do:
- pack my office on campus
- delete personal files from office desktop computer
- perform secure-pass using disk utility on office desktop and laptop
- close local bank account
- arrange for water to be turned off
- complete separation checklist
- pack kitchen
- pack bathroom
- determine best means to transport clothes (wardrobe boxes or not?)
I think that is all. At least those are the things that keep running through my mind. At this point, I wish I could snap my fingers and all of that stuff is done.

The only way I made it through my moves and packing is to make it into something else... Like, oh, I'll be able to clean house and get rid of stuff I don't need... Or some other mind game/head trip... But it never really worked. Packing still sucked.
On a bright note, it sounds like you're making porgress. :-)

It does sound like you are making some progress. Maybe just break it down into do-able chunks. That way, it will be less sucky!
Wardrobe boxes are awesome... if you have professional movers. Otherwise, they are way. too. heavy.
I suspect Ursa is right. I've only used wardrobe boxes when we had paid movers. When it was just me it was suitcases and garbage bags. ;) High class, huh?
I am making progress, but I am wearing thin.
I've not used wardrobe boxes in the past so I'm not sure I want to use them. I do have movers for moving stuff onto the truck next Monday, but not for when I arrive at my destination. I'm mainly concerned about the hanging clothes, and since I'm transporting my car on a car carrier I'll probably just throw them in the car and the trunk. That is probably easier to do.
It definitely sounds like you are making great progress--hang in there!
My vote is for clothes in the car--so much easier than those big boxes.
